Nazareth toured Europe continuously for two years. Nazareth's breakthrough came in 1973 with the album Razamanaz, produced by Roger Glover of Deep Purple. The following year came Loud'n'proud. It contains a cover version of Joni Mitchell's This Flight Tonight, which became an international chart hit and reached number 1 on the sales list in Germany. Rampant was released in 1974, also produced by Roger Glover. The next few years were probably the most productive. In particular, the successful rock ballad Love Hurts achieved endless chart positions and became an evergreen. In 1975 the album Hair Of The Dog was released. Hair Of The Dog, Expect No Mercy and No Mean City are considered part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, which developed from traditional hard rock at the end of the 70s and was significantly influenced by bands like Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. Now the band is back - and the greatest hits live on CD

NAZARETH rocketed to success in the 70s with a string of successful singles which included “BROKEN DOWN ANGEL”, “BAD BAD BOY” and the international smash “LOVE HURTS” alongside albums such as “LOUD'N'PROUD”, “RAMPANT” and “HAIR OF THE DOG” which sold over a million copies in the US. The band were hugely popular on the live circuit but disbanded at the beginning of the 80s. They have now reformed and are back on tour generating huge response from fans both old and new and now releasing both a live greatest hits album
