When “Crystal Logic” was released 30 years ago on the band's small, own label Roadster Records, no one could have imagined that the LP with its gnarly sound and naive cover artwork would develop over the years into one of the most influential releases in the heavy metal genre and Manilla Road thus inventing the style “Epic Metal”. The “30th Anniversary Edition” from Crystal Logic is particularly special. ZYX Studios was able to rescue “Prologue” and “The Ram” from an old master tape, which sounds significantly better than any previous version. The remaining songs have also been remastered for this edition and now sound more powerful. Of course, the exclusive sampler contribution “Flaming Metal System” (US Metal, Shrapnel Records) should not be missing, which is available here in three, slightly different versions. “Heavy metal nerds” will enjoy the rough mix versions of Crystal Logic, Feeling Free Again and Dreams of Eschaton.
