The Tamron 28-75mm F/2.8 Di III VXD G2 (Model A063) provides outstanding resolution and superb overall performance in a lightweight and compact zoom lens for Sony E-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras. High definition and spectacular image quality are the key areas of advancements. The Model A063 features a redesigned optical system but maintains a size similar to its predecessor. The lens provides exceptionally good optical performance, edge-to-edge across the frame, throughout the entire zoom range, along with the soft, beautiful bokeh effects that are distinctive to fast aperture lenses.

The lens features Tamron’s VXD autofocus motor to enable high speed, high precision auto-focusing. Closeup shooting capabilities have also been improved and achieve an MOD of 7.1” at 28mm and a maximum image magnification ratio of 1:2.7. It is equipped with new, groundbreaking features that enable users to easily perform customization and firmware updates themselves, without purchasing the Tamron TAP-in Console. For example, users can reverse the direction of the focus ring during manual focus.

Additionally, Tamron has adopted a new design with improved ergonomics and revised the coating of the lens exterior to improve scratch resistance. The filter size is 67mm, which is standard among Tamron's fast aperture zoom lens series and enables the sharing of lens caps, filters, and other accessories. In addition to features such as Moisture-Resistant Construction and a protective Fluorine Coating, the lens supports various features built into Sony E-Mount cameras, including Fast Hybrid AF, Eye AF and in-camera lens corrections (shading, chromatic aberration, distortion).

TThe 28-75mm F/2.8 Di III VXD G2 (Model A063) is a fast-aperture standard zoom lens for Sony E-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras. The lens is the successor to the popular 28-75mm F/2.8 Di III RXD (Model A036). High definition and spectacular image quality are the key areas of advancements. Model A063 features a redesigned optical system but maintains a size similar to its predecessor. To minimize optical aberrations to an extreme degree, LD (Low Dispersion) and GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) lens elements are used in an optimal arrangement. The lens provides exceptionally good optical performance, edge-to-edge across the frame, throughout the entire zoom range, along with the soft, beautiful bokeh effects that are distinctive to fast-aperture lenses. Taken altogether, the enhanced features create a potent, everyday zoom lens that draws you a giant step closer to maximizing your enjoyment of photography.

Achieves an MOD of 0.18m (7.1 in) and maximum magnification ratio of 1:2.7

Close focusing has also been improved. The MOD (Minimum Object Distance) of the 28-75mm F2.8 G2 is 0.18m (7.1 in) at the wide 28mm end, an improvement over the 1st-generation Model A036. The working distance becomes about 4.4cm (1.7 in) at the MOD. The maximum magnification ratio is 1:2.7. Get closer to any subject and enjoy the world of wide macro photography. In addition, at the telephoto end the MOD is 0.38m (15 in). The maximum magnification ratio when using the longer 75mm focal length is 1:4.1, enabling close-up shooting.

Capture all the action with high-speed, high-precision AF

The AF drive system is equipped with TAMRON’s VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor focus mechanism. VXD is exceptionally responsive and operates at high speed with great precision. The AF speed is approximately twice as fast as the 1st generation Model A036. With reliable, speedy focusing, you are ready for those important moments. Moreover, the AF drive motor is very quiet, which is extra important when recording video.

Proprietary software tool TAMRON Lens Utility for lens function customization

This lens is compatible with the new TAMRON Lens Utility software originally and uniquely developed by TAMRON. TAMRON Lens Utility can be operated using a computer by connecting the lens from its Connector Port via the optional TAMRON Connection Cable. Users can customize the functions and update the firmware through the lens.

New 2nd-generation lens design improves both operation and ergonomics

The all-new 28-75mm F2.8 G2 incorporates a new design that becomes the hallmark of TAMRON lenses introduced in the future. Grip texture has been improved by redesigning the striped pattern on the rubber of focusing and zoom rings. Certain internal parts have also been enhanced. The surface of the lens exterior is shiny black, much glossier than previous models. TAMRON considered customer feedback and reviewed each part and component of the lens down to the finest details.

• Return Policy
  You may return merchandise purchased from Buydig for a refund or a replacement, provided that the procedures and requirements referred to in our return policy are followed. All product returns require a return authorization number (RA). A RA number must be issued within 30 calendar days after the date of purchase; it will be valid for 14 calendar days after it is issued.
  
  Removal or alteration of a product's upc number, serial number or upc/serial number sticker will automatically void your Buydig Return Policy. Products that are returned to Buydig with a missing, damaged or altered serial number will be refused RMA service and returned to you.
  
• Refunds
  Refunds are applied to the payment method used at the time of purchase 2-5 days after receipt of the returned merchandise.
  
• Exchanges
  If you purchased a product from Buydig that you wish to exchange for an alternative, you can return the item for a refund and simply place a new order for the item you desire. We do not apply a refund credit to your new purchase
  
• Defective Item
  An item that was discovered to be defective upon receipt can be replaced with the same model only. You may also return a defective item for a refund.
  
• Damaged Items
  All Packages are inspected for damage before they ship from our warehouse. If your package has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately. We must be informed of all shipping related claims within 1 business day after the date of receipt. We do not issue refunds for returns of damaged merchandise. An item that was discovered damaged upon receipt will be replaced with the same model only.
  
• International Customers
  Please be advised that our products are intended for a US market. If it is to be used outside of the US, please check in advance that it will work. Returns on international orders require the customer pay the return shipping.
  

If an item you received is defective, we will certainly replace the item with a new one. We will ship the replacement product to you at our cost, and use every good measure to ensure that the replacement order is processed quickly.

• Replacement
  We will send a product replacement after the authorized return has completed our receiving/inspection process. The replacement will ship within four business days following our receipt of your return. Please allow additional processing time after Holidays. Although it is our goal to ship a replacement as quickly as possible, we do not send replacements before we receive and inspect the returned merchandise.
  
  To receive a replacement more quickly, you may place a new order for the same item, and we will issue a refund for the full value of the returned product upon completion of our return process.
  
• Returning Items
  If you do not have the return form, we will provide it together with your RA number. Please fill in the requested information on our product return form, and carefully follow the instructions for return.
  
  All returned merchandise must be in original condition, and must include the original factory box (UPC bar codes and serial numbers must be intact) and factory packaging (e.g. foam, plastic, wrappings, etc.), peripherals (e.g. battery, charger, cords, straps, etc.), included warranty cards (without markings), and all instruction booklets and paperwork. The RA number or any other inscriptions must not be written or printed on the product box or packaging. We will not process the return if any of these conditions are not followed.
  
  Retuned merchandise that is lost or damaged during transit is solely the shipper's responsibility. It is important save the tracking information and to properly insure all merchandise being returned to Buydig.
  
• Television Returns
  Buyers Remorse for TVs in Brand New condition:
  If you are not 100% satisfied with your TV purchase, you may return it within 30 days from delivery for a full refund, less return shipping fees. Please note that a 15% restocking fee may apply. All returned TVs must be in their original box and include all packing material, manuals, and accessories.

  For Common Deliveries (FedEx, UPS):
  Please inspect the TV and report any damages (e.g. cracked screen, scratches, dents, etc.) within 2 days by contacting us at 1.800.617.4686
  For Special Handling/Freight deliveries:
  Please open and inspect the TV prior to signing for it. If the TV is cracked or damaged, please refuse delivery and contact us immediately at 1.800.617.4686.
  
  Please note damage claims will be denied for the following:
  TVs with over 60 minutes of recorded usage
  TVs that have been moved from the original delivery address
  
  All damage claims must be made within two (2) days of delivery. We will issue a refund and cover all shipping costs.
  
  
• International Returns
  The customer is responsible for paying for return shipping should they decide to return the product.
  
• Return Exception
  Every item we sell is BRAND NEW and under manufacturer's warranty, unless clearly stated otherwise. Although we have a very flexible return policy on most of the items we sell, due to manufacturer restrictions, there are certain items on which we cannot accept returns. The manufacturer will generally repair or replace the item so long as it is under warranty.
