This relatively uncommon, free-franked, GUNJIYUBIN(Japanese cachet in red ink) cover(w/2-page letter; quite clean, but with a shortened envelope, a jagged top(due to the way in which it was opened), and some creases) was sent by a Japanese infantryman from Keijo, Korea(then occupied by the Japanese), to Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, on November 20, 1906! The Russo-Japan War had ended about 14-15 months prior! The CDS from the Japanese P.O. in Keijo is unfortunately incomplete due to how the envelope was opened. The mail arrived in Hyogo on November 29, 1906, and received a pretty neat CDS that is somewhat light/faded in places. Noted imperfections aside, this remains a nifty piece of Korean and Japanese military postal history!
