This nifty, free-franked, GUNJIYUBIN cover(in pretty good condition; with some stains and creases, and a tear in its top and back flap(55% intact)) was sent by a Japanese soldier from Mukden, Manchuria, to Shiga Prefecture, Japan, on December 26, 1905! The short letter inside was a New Year's greeting! The mail arrived in Shiga Prefecture on January 2, 1906. Noted imperfections aside, this cover remains a neat piece of Japanese military, and Chinese, postal history!
