This uncommon, uprated(w/ a gray, 0.5-Sen issue; in poor-fair condition), red, 1-Sen, Japanese postal stationery card(in poor condition, with numerous stains, tears and holes) was sent from Shintake, Taiwan(then occupied by the Japanese), to Kyoto District, Japan, on April 5, 1899(superb strikes of the CDSs!)! The mail arrived in Kyoto District on 4/15/99, where it a receiving cancel. Noted, numerous imperfections aside, this item remains a pretty nifty piece of Taiwanese and Japanese postal history!
