This uncommon, blue, uprated(w/ a 0.5-Sen issue; in very fine condition!) 1-Sen, Japanese postal stationery card(in very fine condition, with few stains at all) was sent for New Year's from Taihoku(Taipei), Taiwan(then occupied by the Japanese), to Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, on January 1, 1900(a superb strike of the CDS!)! There is a receiving cancel from the Shizuoka City P.O., but it's hard to say what the date was. Simply put, though, this is a really attractive piece of Taiwanese and Japanese postal history!
