This rather uncommon(one of a few in my collection that I can recall ever having!), blue, official, Imperial Japanese Army postal stationery card(with a neat depiction of a battle!; has some staining and discoloration, and minor wear and tear around its edges) was sent by an Imperial Japanese Army soldier in Yinkou(a.k.a. Newchang), Manchuria(then occupied by the Japanese), China, to Kyohashi, Japan, during or soon after the Russo-Japan War(1904-1905)! While somewhat illegible in some areas, the CDS from the Imperial Japanese Post Office is still a neat feature of the item. The receiving cancel from the Kyohashi P.O. is decent, but faded/light in some places. Noted imperfections aside, this remains a somewhat rare piece of GUNJIYUBIN sent from Japanese-occupied Yinkou/Newchang in the mid-latter 1900s!
