This neat, rare, Japanese Naval mail(GUNKANYUBIN) was sent on February 2, 1911, to a Japanese sailor serving aboard the cruiser, H.I.J.M. "Asama!" According to online records, the ship was on a training cruise to North and Central America and Hawaii at the time of writing. The sender was a friend or kin in Tokyo, Japan.

To continue, the purple, 1.5-Sen Japanese definitive, is in great condition! The CDS from the Ushigome P.O. is quite fine! It looks like there is a partial transit cancel, most likely from the Yokohama P.O.

Lastly, as for the post card, itself, it's in very fine condition. It has few stains on it. There is not much wear and tear on it, either. All things considered, this is a really nifty, uncommon piece of Imperial Japanese Naval postal history!
