This neat, rare, Japanese Naval mail(GUNKANYUBIN) was sent on November 1, 1910, to a Japanese sailor serving aboard the cruiser, H.I.J.M. "Asama!" According to online records, the ship was on a training cruise to North and Central America and Hawaii at the time of writing. The sender was a friend in Japan, possibly in the military himself, from what I can make out from the address.

To continue, outside of a few, shorter perfs, the purple, 1.5-Sen Japanese definitive, is in great condition! Admittedly, the CDS from the Japanese post office of origin is somewhat light/faded. The transit cancel(11/2/10) from the Yokohama P.O. is perfect, though!

Lastly, as for the post card, itself, it's in fine-very fine condition. It does have some minor stains on either side. There is evidence that the card was once in an album. There is not much wear and tear on it, though. Noted imperfections aside, this remains a very nifty, uncommon piece of Imperial Japanese Naval postal history!
