This neat, uncommon, Japanese Naval mail was sent on November 19, 1922from a Japanese sailor serving aboard the armored cruiser, H.I.J.M. "Azuma!" The ship was operating out of the Maizuru Naval Base at the time of writing. It was serving as a training ship there. The addressee was a friend or kin in Nagano Prefecture, Japan.

To continue, as for the blue, 1.5-Sen Japanese postal stationery card, it's in fair--good condition. Admittedly, the CDS from the Maizuru P.O. is somewhat light/faded.

Lastly, as for the postal stationery card, itself, it's in fair--good condition. It does have a number of stains here and there, on either side. There is some noticeable wear and tear on it in the form of creases, and around the edges. Noted imperfections aside, this remains a nifty piece of Imperial Japanese Naval postal history!
