Aladdin is a 1992 American animated musical fantasy comedy film produced by Walt Disney Pictures and featuring a soundtrack written by lyricists Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, with composer by Alan Menken. The music earned Menken the Academy Award for Best Original Score, and Menken and Tim Rice the Academy Award for Best Original Song, for "A Whole New World" - the first and only Disney song to win Song of the Year at the Grammy Awards.
It features contributions from Robin Williams, Peabo Bryson, and Regina Belle, among others.
