Waves is an American rock band based in San Diego, California, formed in 2008 by singer-songwriter Nathan Williams. These are two promotional-only full advances of the band’s first two albums, Self-Titled (2008) King of the Beach (2009). King of the Beach features two members of Jay Reatard's band, drummer Billy Hayes and bassist Stephen Pope.
