An attractive lady figure called 'Catherine of Aragon', from the Wives of King Henry V111 collection, made in bone china in England by Wedgwood. The figure comes in a limited edition of 7,500 and is numbered 79. Catherine of Aragon was the first wife of Henry V111, she wears a cream dress in the Tudor style with a panel which has golden patterns on it. She is holding a small book. Sculpted by Maureen Halson, retailed by Compton & Woodhouse. The base is marked as shown in photo 11, no box or certificate.
In very good condition, no nips, chips, cracks or repairs to the figure. Fingers are in tact. All white marks are caused by light reflection.
She measures 7¾" (19½cms) in height and 5" (12½cms) approximately across the width of the dress at the base.
