Case Hallmarked for Chester 1874. Maker James Richardson.

This name is also noted on the movement along with the Reeley details above.

Case Serial number 754993. This is repeated on the movement.

The watch is in very good condition cosmetically and running.

Really nice large heavy pocket watch.

Couple of points to note.

There is a small triangular chip on the porcelain just below the sub dial at 6. Should be a straightforward repair. You could live with it.

The front plate will not close tightly and will need adjusting to do so.
