Case is Hallmarked for London 1884. Joseph Hirst.

This is beautifully designed understated case.

noted on the movement are the makers details above with serial number 4822.

The movement is also marked Patent.

The watch is in very good condition cosmetically but currently not running. Will require a repair/Service.

Balance wheel is free moving. Could be an issue with the chain. I am not an expert.

Please note that he hands are also loose and not fixed.

Undoubtedly a watch for the collectors. Would be extremely difficult to find another.

A watch when serviced/ repaired and running will command a very high price.
