DDS-30 Deuterium Spectral Arc lamp is intended for use as a source of ultraviolet radiation in spectrophotometric devices for industrial purposes: monochromators, special illuminators.
DDS-30 lamps are used with SF-46, SF-56 and SF-256 spectrophotometers.
The lamp is a cylindrical bulb with a side window made of optical quartz and has an octal base. The source of radiation is an arc discharge of a mixture of deuterium and neon, enclosed in a narrow gap.
