DDS-30 Deuterium Spectral Arc lamp is intended for use as a source of ultraviolet radiation in spectrophotometric devices for industrial purposes: monochromators, special illuminators.

DDS-30 lamps are used with SF-46, SF-56 and SF-256 spectrophotometers.

The lamp is a cylindrical bulb with a side window made of optical quartz and has an octal base. The source of radiation is an arc discharge of a mixture of deuterium and neon, enclosed in a narrow gap.

Specifications DDS-30: 

Wavelength of radiation - from 186 nm to 360 nm.

The area of ​​the luminous spot is 3.75 mm2.

Light power in the spectral range from 215 nm to 300 nm - not less than 1.8 mW/ster.

Light center height - 60±2 mm.

Power supply voltage - not less than 300 V.

The burning voltage of DDS-30 is from 50 V to 100 V.

Lamp current - 0.3 A.

Heating time - from 1 min to 20 min.

Operating time of a new lamp - 750 hours.
