Audiophile, Music Lover, and Musician      are apt ways describing this loved person who passed away. His record collection, including classical (in the most broad sense), opera, some jazz and popular, was meticulously cared for. The best turntables, styluses, and speakers were always used and brought current, as necessary. The records received attention (they were cleaned prior to and after each playing) that I thought was overdoing it at the time…now I know better, they were kept in beautiful shape…for their next owner, too.

I trust that you will be pleased if you purchase from the collection.  I hope you will return often to see what other records are being offered.

Holiday For Harp

Harpist Daphne Hellman performed at Café Society stages and on NYC subway platforms during her long global peripatetic musical career. Her Hot Jazz Trio played over a 28-year period (one evening a week) at the Village Gate nightclub in Greenwich Village, NYC. On this 1959 Harmony/Columbia stereo release (the only commercial release by Hellman) are twelve selections intended to please. (See Daphne Hellman's 'New York Times' Obituary to read about a very interesting account of her lifetime accomplishments).
