Tall glossy figurine from sculpture Vincente Martinez for Lladro. She stands 35cm high & weighs 1098g. She is posing with a small bag & hankie & wearing a shawl & bonnet. She has the makers mark on the base. She was made in 1974 & retired in 1985. Model number 4934.

Prior to being fired, the artists make a small hole in the base of the piece to prevent cracking; often a small piece of porcelain stays inside the sculpture, creating the signature rattle known as the 'Lladro Bell'. The composition of the porcelain and glaze are a closely-guarded Lladro family secret. This item has the 'Lladro Bell' rattle.
