Audiophile, Music Lover, and Musician     are apt ways describing this loved person who passed away. His record collection, including classical (in the most broad sense), opera, some jazz and popular, was meticulously cared for. The best turntables, styluses, and speakers were always used and brought current, as necessary. The records received attention (they were cleaned prior to and after each playing) that I thought was overdoing it at the time…now I know better, they were kept in beautiful shape…for their next owner, too.

In 1969 the small independent label Biograph released this Lp of recordings made between 1923-1928 by Clarence Williams, Kid Ory, Perry Bradford, Jimmy Noone, Tommy Ladnier, King Olivers and many others. Early Jazz from New York City and Chicago. Production Supervision by Arnold S. Caplin.
