The North Face Mens Impendor Shell Jacket is a waterproof alpine jacket ideal mid layer for year round use even in the mountains.

The jacket is a 3 layer Gore-Tex shell with the Gore-Tex membrane bonded to a durable face fabric and comfortable backer. The high breathability of the membrane allows moisture vapour to escape ensuring you stay comfortable. It is completely windproof, meaning cold winds can't pass through and create unwanted cooling.

An adjustable attached climbing hood provides convenient protection from the elements, ideal for protecting the face and head against cold winds and heavy rain. The hood can be comfortably worn over a climbing helmet, ideal for belaying in adverse weather conditions.

Underarm pit zip ventilation provides versatile temperature control by allowing you to open the underarm vents for increased airflow and enhanced cooling.
